Junior infants have started to grow our own plants 🌱. We’ve planted some strawberries 🍓, potatoes 🥔, carrots 🥕, salad leaves 🍃 and some mystery seeds 👩🏼🌾👨🏾🌾.
The boys and girls really enjoyed learning about what a plant needs to grow and where vegetables come from. They had fun filling pots with soil and seeds. We are going to water them everyday!

In junior infants, we celebrated pancake Tuesday today! The boys and girls enjoyed choosing their toppings and eating their delicious pancakes! Mmmm!
Ms Moran's Junior Infants have been busy decorating our door for Valentines day. We made Valentines cards and hearts for the people we love. We went on a trip to our school Kindness Tree and even saw our own hearts of kindness on the tree. We got to see all the other classes Valentines doors and we loved it!
Ms Moran's Junior Infants have been learning all about the restaurant in Aistear for the month of February. The boys and girls have been busy at the role play station going into role as a chef, waiter/waitress, customer and manager and have created their own menus. They constructed their own restaurants and hotels (we have some future architects on our hands!). We made food at our play doh station and we learned how to set a table. The boys and girls had lots of fun!
