Well done to all the boys and girls in Ms Moran's junior infant class for dressing up today for their first Halloween in St Gabriels. Today we met some witches, princesses, superheroes, skeletons, zombies, dragons, ninjas and lots more! We had a great day. We played lots of Halloween games and learned lots of songs. We had fun catching the witches hat this afternoon too.
In junior infants, we are learning all about Autumn.
We discussed changes that happen to trees and leaves in Autumn and animals that we might see. We learned about all the colourful leaves that fall from trees. We loved learning our new song 'Autumn leaves are falling down' and we went on a nature walk to our school garden! We collected Autumn leaves and twigs and had lots of fun exploring the garden with our friends.
In junior infants this week, we are learning about growing up.
Some boys and girls brought in pictures to show how we change and grow! We had lots of fun sorting and matching items that belong to babies and items that belong to children.
We are growing and learning every day in junior infants!
