Starry Night- Collaborative Art

 Last week, 4th class learned all about the artist, Vincent Van Gogh. They looked at various famous paintings by Van Gogh. We had a virtual tour around the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The boys and girls used their mixing skills from last week to create their different colours.

4th class created a collaborative piece of artwork based on the famous 'Starry Night' by Van Gogh. They did an excellent job, well done everyone!

The Colour Wheel

4th class have been learning about the colour wheel this week. We focused on primary colours- red, yellow and blue. 4th class learned how you can make every colour with just these three colours! The boys and girls enjoyed mixing paint to create new colours. Some amazing colours were made. Well done everyone! 

September STEM Challenge

Fourth class have been busy during the first full week back to school. They completed a STEM challenge where they were given only a piece of paper, scissors and glue. Their challenge was to create the longest chain they could. Each team worked together to come up with ideas and they turned their plans into action! The boys and girls measured their chains and we compared them to see who's was the longest. Well done everyone!
